Vintè-quart

Fi de l'estiu.
Final del verano.
End of the summer.

Que ha vist com he canviat i m'he fet major.

Que ha visto cómo he cambiado y me he hecho mayor.

Today we picked up the caravan and all the stuff in the camping and we said goodbye to Benicàssim until next year. Weekends filled with family, huge lunches, gatherings and chilly swims. Relax, naps in the hammock, walks along the beach, paellas, risottos, salads, ice creams, slushies, salt in the sun-tanned skin.
In September many foreign old couples from Northern Europe come to the camping to spend winter months travelling the Iberian Penninsula's East coast. One of these couples, English, stopped me by and asked me about the weather, the day after they were heading to Murcia and they heard the motorway had fallen down to the river because of the violent rain these past days. When we were saying goodbye, the woman told me she remembered me. She told me that she'd been coming to the camping for ten years now, and she had seen me become a woman, she'd seen how I grew up.
I found it pretty moving, beautiful, that without us noticing maybe there's been people seeing how we transformed, how we changed and saw us grow for years. And we didn't even know they were there!
Big kisses for you all.
