Cinc coses aleatòries sobre mi
Cinco cosas aleatorias sobre mí
Five random facts about me:

Baudelaire.

I like travelling by train or any of its derivatives, it relaxes me, it connects me with the world and sometimes disconnects me. I used to enjor my trips with music before, but since my iPod isn't working anymore, I try to observe things better, without idealysing them. As I have 50 minutes of metro and tramway everyday on my way to university, I have some time to reflect and look.
"To be away from home and yet to feel oneself everywhere at home; to see the world, to be at the centre of the world, and yet to remain hidden from the world. The spectator is a prince who everywhere rejoices in his incognito.”Baudelaire.

I am a culture lover, I love my culture, my language and the town I was raised in and to which I feel rooted. This is the year in which people from my generation arrange part of the village festivities, most of us are friends since we were little children and we played together in the streets. Some others are new people we became friends of as years passed by. All together we spent the first week of Easter holidays picking up murta (a kind of autochthonous myrtle), decorating a big wooden arch with it and some flowers, working hard, sleeping a few hours, but having so much fun and living together for a few days. Things that my parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents and greatgrandparents did in their youth. My mom and grandmom have sewn a beautiful dress for me.

One of the things I enjoy the most is playing piano. I study in the music conservatory and each term I have to play new works that mean a challenge, technically and interpretatively. I am a methodic person but at the same time, I'm a bit of a disaster and very exaggerate, and the fact of realising that I'm not able of finifhing some works because of their difficultness turns me a bit crazy.
These are two of the works I'll be playing this term, they make me travel everytime I sit in the stool.

4. El menjar és la meua perdició. M'encanta, disfrute menjant, sempre des de xicoteta he sigut molt menjadora.

Food is my ruin, I cannot resist it. I love food, I enjoy eating, always since I was a little girl I've been a very good eater. I like everything except dates, and baked apple and baked pumpkin.

Mar origen hebreu "Myriam" = gota d'aigua; i llatí "Mare"= mar.
Proclivitat a amor aventurers.

Proclividad a moríos aventureros.
Color: azul

When I was born someone I don't remember gave my mother a card with a sort of description of my name. I am Mar, and what the card says is what follows:
Mar, origin in Hebrew "Myriam"= water drop and Latin "Mare"= sea -this is what my name means in Spanish and Catalan : sea-.
Independent and logical woman who's always in the vanguard of life. An untamable feminin strenght spirit gets her to be successful in many disciplines. She can be a bit arrogant and could be more indulgent with less gifted people. In her work she needs to feel always appreciated. Given to adventurous love affaires.
Colour: blue
Lucky number: 1.

By luck or misfortune, it's very close to reality!

Now it's the turn for some other people to join this curious game (if you want of course!)
Rachel, Sara, Martita and Ibabe , it'd be nice if you joined :)

And last but not least, my dear Nadine, thank you as always for your lovely personaliy, your beautiful mails and words, and thank you for the thoughts you dedicate to me, you make me feel very honoured and beloved!

i am totally impressed by the festivities, would love to experience it, it sounds and looks like lots of fun. and the picture of the sleeping beauty, very fairytale-like..!
